Now, bathrooms are tough on electronics. Steam gets everywhere. To keep these things from burning out, we seal the electrical parts with high-temp silicone. We also use tempered quartz glass, so when a cloud of cold steam hits a hot element, the glass doesn’t shatter. One heads-up, though: these units pack a punch. They pull a lot of power. Make sure your wiring and breakers can handle the wattage, or you’ll be flipping the switch in your breaker box every time you turn the heat on. But the real magic is in the wavelength.
